What does the IATI AirHelp include?
All flights up to 1,500 km
You are entitled to compensation if: - The aircraft is more than three hours late arriving at its destination. - You have checked in for your flight on time. - The airline is responsible for the delay (e.g. operational circumstances and technical difficulties). - The flight took off in the EU (from any airline) or landed in the EU (provided the airline is based in the EU).
Flights over 1,500 km within the EU
You are entitled to compensation if: - The aircraft is more than three hours late arriving at its destination. - You have checked in for your flight on time. - The airline is responsible for the delay (e.g. operational circumstances and technical difficulties). - The flight took off in the EU (from any airline) or landed in the EU (provided the airline is based in the EU).
Flights between 1,500 km and 3,500 km outside the EU
You are entitled to compensation if: - The aircraft is more than three hours late arriving at its destination. - You have checked in for your flight on time. - The airline is responsible for the delay (e.g. operational circumstances and technical difficulties). - The flight took off in the EU (from any airline) or landed in the EU (provided the airline is based in the EU).

Cancelled flight
You are entitled to compensation if: - The airline notifies you of the cancellation less than 14 days before take-off. - The cancellation is not due to extraordinary circumstances If the airline offers an alternative flight and the minimum notice period is not met: - 7 - 13 days prior notice: for alternative flight departing no more than 2 hours before and arriving less than 4 hours after the original flight. - Less than 7 days prior notice: for an alternative flight that departs no more than 1 hour before and arrives less than 2 hours after the original flight.
Missed Connections
You are entitled to compensation if: - Flight delayed more than three hours on arrival at destination - Cancelled flight - Denied boarding You are only entitled if all flights are booked together under one reference number.
Baggage problems
For some international or EU flights only, you may be entitled to compensation for lost or delayed checked baggage for more than 21 days.
